QUEEN VICTORIA INTEREST - HONITON LACE BERTHA. A 19thc Honiton lace bertha, mounted on a piece of black card. With associated provenance linking this item to Queen Victoria.
*This was reputably one of many items removed from the Royal Residence following her death by Mrs Tuck dresser to the Queen, and given to Sir Alfred Rice Oxley MD MRCP, Physician to HRH Princess Beatrice and the Household. This comes with a photocopied list which notes 'A Honiton Lace 'Bertha' about 2 1/4 yards long'. *Condition: There are a few small holes in places but as would expect for a garment of that age.
