A Channel Islands silver Old English pattern bright cut soup spoon, maker's mark TDG over JLG struck once beneath terminal (Thomas de Gruchy and John Le Gallais, Jersey, 1831-1846), bright cut foliate decoration, with flat edged bowl, bifurcated shoe piece, inscribed to terminal 'P GQN 1841', 7 7/8in. (20cm.) long, 1.2 tr.oz. * Very light surface wear only, overall good.
