A smokebox numberplate, 42381, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2381 built at Derby and which entered traffic at Crewe North on 24 June 1932. Its later sheds included Buxton, Swansea Paxton Street, Macclesfield, Longsight, Stoke and Stafford from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 8 May 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge, entering their yard on 20 September 1965.
