A pair of Chinese carved hardwood buffalo groups, early 20th century. Both carved depicting a figure riding on the hind of a recumbent buffalo with glass inset eyes and carved bone inset teeth. Displayed on separate carved wood bases. 23.8 cm length, 24.3 length.
Condition report: Some wear and splits with age and small losses present.
