A Pelletier - Rare engraving of the Asian Fairy Bluebird 1824.

This hand-coloured engraving of the Irena Puella - Asian Fairy Bluebird is from Zoological Researches in Java and the Neighbouring Islands by Thomas Horsfield. Published by Kingsbury, Parbury & Allen, London 1824.

The illustration was drawn by Auguste Pelletier and lithographed by Charles Joseph Hullmandel.

Size: 10.75in x 9in (27cm x 23cm).
