Victorian India Army Sword by Wilkinson
32 1/4 inch, dumbbell blade with central fuller. Etched foliage panels, crowned coat of arms, crowned VRI and owner's intertwined initials. Forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London". Back edge numbered "33576" (1895). Brass Gothic guard with crowned VRI cartouche and Armorial Crest. Brass pommel and checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered field scabbard with lower steel chape. Complete with brown leather sword knot.
