A smokebox numberplate, 9312, from a GWR 43xx Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in March 1932 and renumbered 7334 in January 1959 following modification to reduce weight thereby increasing route availability. A long time Oxley engine, it finished its days at Chester, Laira, Pontypool Road and Carmarthen from where it was withdrawn in April 1962 and cut up at Swindon Works. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
