Henry VIII silver Groat, posthumous coinage (1509-1526), London mint, castle mintmark (S 2316, North 1762). Obverse: right-facing crowned profile bust with a castle above and 'HENRIC' x VIII' x DI' x GRA' x REX x AGL x Z x FR' x' around. Reverse: long cross fourchee over a shield of royal arms with 'POSVI DEV xx ADIVTORE xx MEV' with castle mintmark. Weight: 2.82g. Diameter: 26mm. Grade: nVF - round flan with a few minor scuffs and scratches, approaching Very Fine. Comes with an old ticket.
