LARGE 19THC CHINESE CANTONESE BOWL & WOODEN STAND. A large 19thc Chinese Cantonese bowl, the interior and exterior painted with alternating panels of court figures and attendants, and panels of flowers, birds and insects. The border around the rim painted with further birds, bats and flowers. With a wooden stand, 40cms diameter, 17.5cms high. ** It rings nicely when tapped, the footrim has various indentations (to the side and base of the rim), these appear to be glazed over and possibly from manufacture (see images)
