A small but impressive collection of approximately 27 embroidered silk, including regimental and two woven in silk ‘hands across the sea’ for the RMS Virginian and RMS Oceanic. Arguably the most collectable 11 cards, all shown in the 1st photo, are shown again in the 2nd and 3rd photos so you can better judge their condition. These include one for the RFA, Royal Fusiliers, Warwickshire Regiment, Royal Engineers (x2), the King’s Royal Rifle Corps, and the 16th County of London Regiment (Queen’s Westminsters), as well as one of Guernsey and Dunkirk in flames in 1915. There are 16 silk greetings cards which make up this lot. Not all the cards are in pristine condition – some have minor faults such as edge and corner knocks, brown spotting and small stains.
