French 'Chien de Mer' naval officer's flintlock pistol with 110mm long barrel. Bore approx. 15mm. Working action which holds at both full and half cocked positions. No makers marks or Proof marks. Overall length 225mm. Carved decoration of a Dogs head to the butt. Complete with a steel ramrod. Section 58 (2) no licence required.
