A framed early 20th century Chinese silk embroidered shawl, embroidered with chickens, ducks, flying birds and insects amongst bamboo and flowering plants, 126cm wide x 10.5cm high

The shawl has fading and sections of embroidery missing. There is wear to the bottom of the shawl and stains on the silk in places. The shawl has not been cut when framed, so fringing etc is tucked behind the frame.
