A scarce brass framed and brass 4 barrelled flintlock boxlock tap action pistol, by Wm Henshaw, London, c 1800, designed to fire 2 barrels a time, 11” overall, turn off barrels 4½”, barrels and breeches numbered 1 to 4, and each breech with London proofs; frame engraved with flags and flower heads and signed in oval panels; with plain walnut slab butt. Good Working Order and Condition (slightly worn, the top jaw and screw replaced). Plate 11
