A late 19c French mantel clock in wooden case ebonised to resemble marble, and with 'faux marble' pilasters flanking the 8cm diam. white enamel dial, which has Roman numerals. The single train eight day movement has a pendulum driven anchor escapement and the clock stands 20cm tall overall.
