17th Century Dehua Blanc-de-chine sleeve vase, with applied lion mask handles (probably late Ming Dynasty), on a carved hardwood stand and fitted with a hardwood cover open at the top. The lid aperture embellished with a circle of identical inset green hardstones, dished at the top. 33cm high approx.

Noticeable damage and losses to the stand. Heavily crazed all over with some minor frits and losses to the lion mask handles. Provenance: Long term items from the family who once lived in China.
