Great Britain: Levant Tin Mines Limited, £50 debenture, 1923, #94, large format, black. A mixed tin and copper mine in Cornwall that was developed from the 18th century. Following a disaster that killed 31 men in 1919 the company was reorganised but the deep levels were never worked again and the mine closed in 1930. Passed to the National trust in 1967 and now open as a heritage site. EF.
