A selection of nearly 30 children’s comics and publications from the 19th and 20th century in generally very good condition. Two date back to 1839. There are some scarce and desirable examples. This lot includes a 1918 illustrated CHIPS, a 1951 Knockout comic, a 1987 first edition of Walt Disney’s Donald Duck, a first issue of the Shoe People (1987), a Tit Bits from 1888, a 1917 Chums (boys paper), a 1947 edition of Film Fun, a 1951 Radio Fun, 1957 Beano, 1945 Rover, 1934 The Gem, 1939 the Magnet, 1987 Dennis, a Saturday Magazine from 1839, Penny magazine from the same year, Girl’s Own Paper from 1890, The Champion (1952) and three Victorian issues of the Boy’s Own Paper. Also a full set of 1-12 magazine supplements from the Daily Mail about the late Princess of Wales called: ‘Diana – The Untold Story.’
