A 1940s H Hauptner Berlin army field surgical kit, together with another first aid example, produced by Carlwusthof Soligngen, surgical tools in a fabric case wrapped in leather with a metal clasp, closed it measures 16cm x 9cm x 4cm, sticker on the inside of the leather case lists the following:

6x curved needles & one pack of silver wire in a small leather envelope

1 x hollow needle with a cap for bloodletting
1x push button lancet
1x forcep tweezers, 160mm
1x curved scissors, 150mm
1x double lancet

1x sharp spoon, 155mm
