Backstamps struck on join. 14 Aug. 1869 EL (tissue paper; small tear on front) from Buenos Aires to Florence (boxed "FIRENZE/ARRIVO" backstamp) with boxed "*/F.56" mark (v. fine, partly overstruck). 11 July 1869 part-cover (tear on bottom right corner) from Buenos Aires to St. Gallen with triangle "F./29" mark (fine) on the front with large sender's cachet.
