Original vintage travel poster for Uri Ferienland / Holiday Land featuring artwork by Heinrich Danioth (1896-1953) depicting a lady wearing a sun hat and holding a Swiss flag while leaning on a decorative fence with a view over a lake towards snow topped mountains in the distance, the bold title text across the centre. The canton of Uri is located between the St Gotthard Pass and Lake Lucerne on the north side of the Swiss Alps in the Reuss valley in central Switzerland, popular for both summer and winter sports including skiing and hiking.
