Willi Soukop RA (1907-1995), Horned Creature, wood and aluminium sculpture bust, 1987, unique, 55cm high Provenance: exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1987, labelled to underside. Note: born in Vienna, Soukop studied at the Academy of Fine Art before moving to England where he taught at the art colleges in Bromley, Guildford and Chelsea where he taught Elisabeth Frink. He was elected as a Roal Academician in 1969 and taught sculpture there. Examples of his work appear in the Tate.
