As an esteemed critic and reviewer, she has contributed extensively to various literary periodicals. In her role as an educator, she has led numerous courses on creative writing, literature, and critical analysis for institutions ranging from UCC to Cork Prison.
Her library embodies her diverse, progressive, and pioneering interests, spanning feminism, gender theory, critical theory, and comparative literature. It also includes specific interest areas such as the Cavalier era, nature, psychology, and Hungarian literature (the latter reflecting her work as a translator of Hungarian poetry).
