ARMY POST OFFICE MAIL, WWI TO WWII: Large binder housing the collection of cards & covers, the majority dated 1916-45, but a few later. Includes 19 WWI period OAS covers with a range of censor marks inc. various 'mute' hand stamps; range of 7 inter-war period letters to UK bearing British Forces letter stamps (SG A7/A9) with 'Retta' cancels accompanied by circular "M.P.O" cancels and red, crowned circle pre-paid cancels; selection of WWII period covers displaying a range of FPO marks and Army/RAF & Navy censor marks. Lot also inc. a trio of c.1971 Egyptian Army PO covers, one bearing a pair of 10m violet 'soldier,s mail' adhesives - scarce on cover. Mostly good to fine throughout.
