A pre-contact Papua New Guinea carved stone mace head, circular form, from the centre tapers to an edge, slightly irregular shape, 10cm in diameter (Collected by our vendor in 1966 whilst a volunteer in a small village on the Pulie river between Kandrian and Kumbun, in what is now West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea, village elders could remember the mace being used in Tribal combat)
