From The Estate Of Bill Owen (1914-1999) - Scrapbooks - two of Bill Owen's personally made scrapbooks. The first one covering the early 1990s, and largely relating to his associations with the Labour Party, including handwritten letters from Neil Kinnock, newspaper clippings relating to Owen at the time, press photographs, some Last Of The Summer Wine photographs, letters to Owen relating to his resignation from his position of Chairman from Arts for Labour, etc. The second album covers the late 1980s into early 1990s and features Last Of The Summer Wine photographs, clippings and interviews, theatrical productions, personal appearances, an original proof copy of the dustcover for Owen's autobiography 'A Cluttered Life' and many clippings / letters relating to the books' release. Unique archive of items from Bill Owen's career.
