£60
A brass mounted leather shotgun case, measuring approx. 84cm in length, with a two-tier interior lined in red baize; together with a brass artillery shell casing engraved with an Chinese dragon and dated 1932 (2)
The case is in a heavily worn overall condition. The leather cladding is very dehydrated, with tears and marks generally. Buckled straps are lacking. Brass fittings much tarnished. Key is badly rusted, though lock remains functional. Baize interior with widespread tearing, holes and staining. Lower tier appears to be lacking dividers.
Based on the internal layout, we assume the case was intended for a pair of side-by-side shotguns. The original layout of the lower tier (which is lacking dividers) appears to replicate the upper.
