BRAZIL - WAR OF JENKINS EAR DEATH CERTIFICATE, COVER TO HMS ANDROMACHE "RETURN'D FOR POSTAGE", ETC.; 1746 manuscript death cert. for a Marine Moses Rogers who "dyed 9 Dec. 1740 at Sea" (during the chaotic Anson Expedition around the world during the oddly named 1739-48 'War of Jenkins Ear', 1808 EL from HMS Confiance "off Lisbon" en route to "the Brazils", and a fine 1819 EL from London to a Marine on HMS Andromache which missed him at Plymouth was endorsed "Brazils" and has a London boxed "Return's/for Postage" on reverse.
