17th / 18th Century Safavid blue and white jar, the hinged engraved brass dome shaped cover above an ovoid body painted with figures, trees and birds in a landscape in Chinese style, above an engraved brass base with turned feet, 45cm high
Much surface crazing and minor scratching with occasional areas of dark brown discolouration. No cracks, breaks, repair or restoration noted. It has not been possible to inspect beneath the rim and base mounts. Hinge pin to lid faulty. See additional photos also.
