Cased fish - A late 19th century taxidermy Roach (Rutilus rutilus), preserved and mounted within a naturalistic river bed setting, in an ebonised bowfront glazed case with gilt border and name, label to backdrop reads 'Caught by Thomas Roberts at Amberley, March 8th 1896 wt. 1.lb 9 1/2 ozs', 19 3/8 x 4 1/2in. (49.3 x 11.5cm.), 12in. (30.6cm.) high.
