Queen Anne 80 Bore Flintlock turn off Pocket Pistol by Wynn, early 18th century, with 2 inch cannon barrel, border & scroll engraved rounded action, signed DAVID WYNN, bag shaped wooden butt, crisp action on both 1st & 2nd cock, 6.5 inches overall, unusually can be dated quite precisely as the Dictionary of London Gun-makers show David Wynn completing his apprenticeship in 1715 and opening a shop in St James, London, before entering into partnership with Henry Delaney in 1720, after which their guns were marked Delaney & Wynn. Nice collectors piece
