EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY MAHOGANY STAINED FRUITWOOD CASED MUSICAL LONGCASE CLOCK SIGNED ELKINGTON, the 12” brass Arabic dial with fret cut scrollwork to the centre and spandrels and subsidiary seconds dial to the centre, set beneath SILENT/ CHIME and WESTMINSTER, ST. MICHAEL and WHITTINGTON subsidiary dials to the arch, powered by a substantial eight day movement with three weights and nine graduated tubular bells, housed in a case with mask capped pediment, pierced side frets and free standing columns to the fore corners, set above a long, bevel glazed trunk door, flanked by mask capped quarter columns, and raised on a panelled base carved with C scrolled lattice panels, and with claw and ball feet, 90” (228.6cm) high
Chiming on nine tubes, three train movement with wire catgut. 

Some minor marks to the hood and case, finish tired throughout, loose return to the bracket feet present.
