£100
An early-20th century Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders horsehair sporran, black, suspending six white tassels, together with a 1911-dated regimental Route March Through Argyllshire programme, inscribed to a Mr. Black, an enamel pin badge and a small leather child's sporran (4)
Sporran is in fair overall condition. Horsehair body and tassels are all in good order and of a nice lush character. The plain brass cantle is generally tarnished and dented, with an uneven surface. The tan leather backing is supple, though with much wear and marking to surface. Various scuffs and divots to the leather with more significant tears surrounding the straps securing the belt. These straps look to have been reattached on at least one occasion. The belt itself is torn, with a length lost.
