A 19th century processional banner venerating the Holy Family. A cream watered silk banner, enclosed by a gilt bullion scrolling border, centred with a full length group of Jesus, Mary and Joseph wearing gilt embellished robes and standing among sprays of gilt shamrock, emblazoned "Jesus Mary and Joseph - Have Pity On Us", the reverse of red silk with broad gilt brocade border and centred with a gilt harp. Suspended from a brass pole with enamelled cross terminals. 63" x 41" (160 x 104cm)
