Map of the County of Buckingham from an actual survey made in the years 1832 & 1833. A beautifully engraved, elegant map of Buckinghamshire by the brothers Christopher and James Greenwood. The map scale of 1 inch representing 3 miles allows for tremendous detail, including churches, castles, railways, heaths, turnpike roads, woods and rivers. A delightful vignette of Stowe House adorns the lower left corner. There is also an explanation table, compass rose and a numbered reference table to the various county "Hundreds".
