A very heavy Indian talwar sword, with curved, etched blade and stylised brass handguard in the form of a regal lion. The scabbard is equally decorative, covered in a plush red velvet with brass locket, chape and delicate braiding. Similar to the swords carried at traditional South Asian weddings, this piece is for display purposes.
