A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE MANCHESTER REGIMENT. A Great War Pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 49852Pte W. Logan Manch R. William Logan was the son of William and Margaret Logan of Gateshead, he served with the 1st/8th (Ardwick) Battalion of the Manchester Regiment. He died on the 30th August 1918 and is buried at Bancourt British Cemetery, outside Bapaume, he was 35 years old. With transmition slip for medals. *CR Normal light surface marks. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
