VERY RARE "STEAMER IONA" HS ON COMMERCIAL WAY-BILL: Printed "To DAVID HUTCHESON & CO., Glasgow" way bill (small faults, slight toning) dated 7 Oct. 1875 franked 1d lilac cancelled by purple s/l "STEAMER "IONA"" hs, for '189 Sheep' from Ardrishaig. We have never seen this Iona hs, and this commercial usage is particularly important. Exhibition item.
