A Chinese famille rose porcelain brush washer, four character Qianlong mark but probably Republic period (1912-1949), the shallow bowl with turnover rim, painted in famille rose and rouge-de-feu with a long bodied dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst flames and polychrome clouds,the rim with a band of ruyi pendant decoration, 5¾in. (14.6cm.) diameter, 1½in. (3.8cm.) high. In good condition, with no faults - no chips, cracks or restoration.
