1918 (14 December) General Election Ireland, home-made Sinn Fein armband. A white cotton armband with green and orange ribbon stitched on and with note "Sinn Fein armband - picked up on Waterford - station - Ireland."; together with an Irish Parliamentary Party election leaflet and a Sinn Fein election leaflet. Picked up at Waterford Railway Station following a riot by Pte. HP Stephenson, Signals Corps. Purchased at auction in New Zealand from the estate of HP Stephenson by the current owner.
