A post war walnut extending dining table of rectangular form, on tapered legs, with an insert leaf, height 74cm, width 91cm and length 165cm extended and 120cm when closed, together with a set of six beech dining chairs comprising two elbow chairs and four standard chairs, with slender lath backs and drop-in seat pads, S/D. The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. They may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.
Some scuffs and scratches to the top of the table and an old filled repair to the same. There is a small dent out of the end of the insert leaf. The frames of the chairs are faded / sun bleached. The seat pads have been re-upholstered in a woven cloth oatmeal coloured fabric.
