Tipstaff - small wooden Georgian (probably 1820-1830) Tipstaff. Has a crown and G.R painted on it which is a bit rubbed. Pocket Tipstaffs - these were frequently carried by Inspectors of Railways in their waistcoat pockets - very unusual item
