Celtic Britain: Atrebates plated fourrée silver unit of Verica (son of Commius) c.10-c.40 AD, COMMI F, horseman with shield / VERI CA, horseman with spear. 1.12g. See S.133; ABC 1238; V.530; BMC 1360-92. AVF with some flaking of the plating. Verica was an ally of Rome and fled Britain in 42 AD to seek help from Claudius.
