A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD CLOISONNE ENAMEL JAR AND COVER by Namikawa Yasuyuki, the jar decorated with butterflies amidst flora within three yellow ground panels all worked in silver wire, the scenes contrasted against a midnight blue ground of extensive gold wired chrysanthemums and stylised flora, the lid carrying a gilt chrysanthemum finial, the gilt base rim houses a silver plaque that reads Kyoto Namikawa. 8.9 cm high. Provenance: Private USA Collection.
