Third Reich ceramics, comprising a Luftwaffe pottery sugar bowl of cylindrical form with moulded rope-twist border and printed in green with Reichsadler 'Luft 1939,' and a Third Reich Kriegsmarine porcelain tea cup of U100 interest. Launched in April 1940 and undertaking six patrols, U100 was attacked by the Royal Navy on four occasions. On 17th march 1941 she became the first U-Boat to be sunk after being located by radar after being rammed by HMS Vanoc and depth charged by HMS Walker. (2)
