Cornwall slightly defective in left and right margins; v. small wormholes at foot of Devon; Dorset holed without loss in centre, loss in right margin; Somerset, cropping; Wiltshire, repaired tear; Kent, repaired to left margin; Middlesex, lower margin repairs & slight loss in gutter; Rutland, right & left margins tight; Warwickshire, small repaired tear; Shropshire, lower margin repaired; Herefordshire, browned & repaired in the folds; 18th c. calf panelled in blind, rebacked and recased, London, Impensis Georgii Bishop & Ioannis Norton, 1610. A well curated copy, if slightly sophisticated, we think approx. 3 or 4 of the maps supplied from a later edition. Page size 12.5 x 8.25 inches.
