THREE PIECE LATE NINETEENTH/ EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY PORCELAIN GARNITURE OF TWO HANDLED PEDESTAL POT POURRI VASES AND COVERS, each with well modelled bird pattern handles in gilt, conforming knop to the pierced cover and paw feet supports on a square base, gilt painted with birds and scrolling leafy foliage, set of a blue and cream ground, 7 ½” (19cm) high, unmarked, (3)
C/R- the largest- one bird has been re-attached, one wing missing, the other re-glued and end of tail re-glued and chipped, the other bird appears good, three hairlines to the bowl, smaller pair- one with knop missing, one bird re-attached and with one wing re-glued and tip missing, the other wing re-glued, badly, and end of tail missing, the other bird re-attached and with half of one wing missing, two hairlines to the bowl, the other vase- knop re-glued, one bird with head re-glued, one wing re-glued and end missing, the other appears good, two hairlines to the bowl and firing crack to the inner rim, also, has been re-attached to the top of the short waisted stem, all with the usual light rubbing and very light surface scratching
