A 19TH CENTURY AUSTRIAN PARCELGILT SILVER SNUFF BOX. rectangular form, the cover with a raised panel, decorated with a landscape scene of a classical figure playing an instrument with animals under a tree in niello-work within a scroll border, the base engraved with an arrangement of flowers surrounded by foliate scrolls, gilt interior, maker's mark unclear, Vienna c.1850; 3.25" (8.2cm) long; 3.1ozt.
Quite worn, bumps to the corners and the front two are starting to split, cover a bit loose, inside quite dirty & shame about the marks not being clear
