The Alfa Romeo Spider is a roadster produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1966 to 1993. The successor to the Giulia Spider, it remained in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes

This factory RHD original UK import comes in original prototipo gallio (primrose yellow) with a black soft top and interior. It has the standard 2000cc twin overhead cam four cylinder engine with twin Weber carbs, Five speed gear box, and power assisted disc brakes all round.

The vendor advises that the car has had an extensive professional mechanical and body work restoration in 2014 including engine, gearbox, differential rebuilds, new clutch, new mohair roof and respray. Steering linkages, brake servos, exhaust system, radiator, alternator, and the petrol tank have all been replaced in past five years. The car has been professionally maintained to a good standard, driven regularly and is said to be reliable and drives well. Some minor bodywork and trim restoration is said to be needed. It comes with lots of spare bits and pieces, including a hard top. Some replacement fittings are not a true match to originals.

There is extensive repair paperwork and restoration photos, with old MOTs, original owners manual and maintenance handbook available with the car. The car shows a cat D loss in 2005 (damaged but repairable, Insurer decided not to repair) prior to restoration.
