A VICTORIAN BURR WALNUT RECTANGULAR APOTHECARIES BOX, the hinged cover with leather lined interior bearing oval gilt 'CHARLES CORFIELD, HOMEOPATHIC CHEMIST, 27 BENNETTS HILL, BIRMINGHAM', fitted with a range of compartments and test tube holders, above two drawers with gilt brass flush handles, width 29cm x 19.5cm, together with two sets of late Victorian / Edwardian postage scales and a tin containing twenty-eight bone and ebony dominoes and a quantity of other treen, bone, metal and mother of pearl collectables (1 box) Condition report: the apothecaries box has water damage to the lid and a split towards the front left hand corner, the leather lining is damaged, the smaller postage scales come with three weights, the frame for the scales is misshapen and two feet are loose, the larger scales have a vacant slot for a weight and are very dusty, other items are in varying states of condition with many pieces having some damage)
