A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN BOWLS
20th century, each bearing six character seal marks to the base, decorated with a processional scene of figures and beasts, 5.5cm high x 11.8cm wide; together with another similar bowl, 5cm high; and a dish, 13.5cm wide (4)
Provenance: Thomas Child (1841 â 1898) was a pioneering photographer who produced a large body of photographs during his time in Beijing during the 1870's. He was close to the Emperor and the court. The family believe a number of objects were gifts from the Imperial family.
